Everyday Chocolate Cake with Velomont Chocolate

Ingredients

(for a 22 cm pan)

  • 4 sachets Velomont Classic Chocolate
  • 4 eggs
  • 200 g sugar
  • 225 ml fresh orange juice
  • 225 ml olive oil
  • 250 g self-rising whole wheat flour

Method

  1. Preheat the oven to 170°C. Grease and lightly flour a 22 cm cake pan.
  2. In a mixer, combine the Velomont Chocolate, eggs, sugar, and orange juice. Start mixing and gradually add the olive oil. Then add the flour in three parts, mixing until fully incorporated.
  3. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for at least 45 minutes. Check doneness by inserting a knife into the center — if it comes out clean, the cake is ready.

Allow the cake to rest for 10 minutes, then remove from the pan, dust with powdered sugar, and serve.
